Both teams opened the series poor. St. Gallen with 1-1 away against FC Schaffhausen and Grasshoppers with 0-0 home againt this year rookies Sion.
Things that make me think Grasshoppers can take this is:
- St.Gallen got some players injured, also their captain Calla. He will be out for some time and will be missed in this tough match-up.
- Grasshoppers have played Intertoto cup and went trough the first round against Teplice with 2-0 in both matches. They lost 2-3 against Gent after winning 2-1 at home and losing 0-2 away. They have gotten good matchup in both matches.
- Grasshoppers are going to fight in the top of the league, while St.Gallen will be at the middle.
- Grasshoppers lead 7-4-1 against St.Gallen the last 3 seasons, but have only got 2-3-1 against them on St-Gallen turf.
All together i will give Grasshoppers a fair chance at place 5 units on then on Betfair at 2.72 after commision
